La Pietra Suites was one of the most comfortable accommodations I’ve ever experienced. The room has high ceilings, is very airy and spacious. It’s decorated to fit with the medieval theme of Monemvasia. There was wine and expresso to enjoy and breakfast at the deli below was delightful with spectacular views

the location within the walls of Monemvasia was ideal. Absolutely charming and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional with daily baked goods. The outdoor patio next to our room was perfect to use for drawing, sipping wine and relaxing. Our stay and accommodations exceeded expectations! Highly recommend!

Sleeping inside the walled city is an experience not to be missed. The hotel has a main building that serves as a reception area, tastefully decorated with windows overlooking the parade ground of the military fort. The town's main church is open in the same square. The rooms are located in several small houses near the main building. They are small, cosy rooms with wooden furniture. Our room had a bed with a headboard, small armchairs, mirrors, a nice old table, all in 19th century style. The bathroom was all marble and new. The air conditioning, which in Greece is a must in August, worked perfectly. From our little house we enjoyed a view of an enclosed garden within the walls of another partly ruined house, with birds singing in the morning and crickets all day, and a view of the fortified mountain. The owners are cultured people, infinitely polite and hospitable. It is a place for people with refined tastes, simple but elegant. The owner does not prepare breakfast, but it can be ordered on request (4 different menus, tasty and plentiful!) and served on the small terrace of the main building from 9.30am to 11am. We hope to return sooner or later! Thank you again for the warm welcome!

Very tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable beds and even a free jug of wine awaited us in the living room. The guesthouse is an interesting old building situated in a quiet situation close to the sea, but handy for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was exceptional. Enjoyed a walk up to the ruins above Monemvasia, great views.

Host was so helpful and we got a free wine tasting in a store in town. I would re visit in a heart beat. One big bonus is that it's in a quiet courtyard which is great as Momenvasia is very busy. Still it's only a couple of walks from the center where there are plently of places to eat and drink. Breakfast was also lovely with lots of fresh produce.
