Being in the middle of nature, just jungle sounds. The best is all the community and environmental projects the lodge supports with the income they get, plus projects to preserve the rainforest. The restaurant serves delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. It was a bit out of our budget but for a few nights it was a dream to be there.

About 20 minutes from the Jatiluwih rice terraces but don't miss a visit to Subak Piak which is not well known but really beautiful.

Access via a 200m path from the local temple, the hosts will help with your luggage. We changed dates at the last minute which meant we were staying over Eid (they should have been closed) The host were very gracious inviting us to there Eid celebrations and meals, which were excellent. The rooms were excellent, good size overlooking the pool. Great location for cling Mount Batukaru. Wonderful massage, highly recommended.
