I write this review from a specific perspective — I had arrived in Vrindavan with a group but then stayed a few days on my own. I have been to Vrindavan previously but I was a little nervous about staying solo as a western woman… Vraja can present some challenges for us in regards to attracting attention, even if you are an experienced devotee. I usually stay at MVT so I can walk directly to ISKCON by myself, but it was full and I am SO GLAD I found Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram instead! It perfectly threads the needle between having comfortable rooms and being peaceful and still in the center of Vrindavan, with the real spirit of Vrindavan and not like some of the newer developments. “Ashram” conjures up thoughts of austerities — and on the same trip I stayed alone in a Math that I couldn’t handle alone… but the rooms here are incredibly comfortable and provide things that seem luxurious in an ashram, especially for the price. I had a king-sized bed with comfortable mattresses, multiple pillows, and duvets — no fuzzy brown blankets … A wardrobe, a table and chairs for sitting, a KETTLE and tea/coffee cups with some hot drink packets and even digestive biscuits!!! Also an amazing ceiling fan, real towels in the washroom, a shower head providing hot water with water pressure instead of a bucket… etc. There’s even a TV with cable, I believe, but I did not get a chance to use it. there’s also an enclosed colonial-style veranda looking out onto a lawn which is a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage. The ashram features a small temple in the back which seems to offer small aartis daily, but this really seemed like more of a guest house than a residential ashram. anyways here is why you should choose this place as a solo woman — there is always security and the staff are AMAZING and super helpful! I booked specifically based on other Booking reviews that expressed this.

I liked the rooms as they were very much at par with any 3 star hotel. The location is very near to Radha Raman temple so it was easier for us to roam around the famous temples by foot.

Place is chill, quite, safe, great. The perfect place to relax from busy and loud street. Comfortable. Room is good, clean, has A/C. Everything what you need. I would hardly recommend this place. And also close to place where you can take riksha to other places.

They are too caring and understanding and co operative .. surrounding place is awesome .. peaceful .. our decision is best to choose priyamvada homestay .. it's better to give advance payment BCz always full n sold out bcz their services is good and quick if u suffering any problem they take quick action to solve that problem so this is best part I like .. it's feel like we r living in home with family .. so .. their 1 st motive is giving good service to their customers and tourist who come across .. . Free from monkey area .. only peacocks and different birds around here .. so in minimum budget we find best place for stay ..
