This was a lovely guesthouse. The view into the lake and mountains was fantastic. Lovely and shy dog on site. (which we later learnt is a native Iceland sheep dog!) Richard was such a warm and helpful host. Breakfast was great.

Everything! Elisabeth is an amazing host. Greeting us with warmth and kindness, making us feel at home right away. She prepared a wonderfully delicious home cooked meal for dinner, the best we had in Iceland. And also breakfast was fantastic, everything homemade. Her attention to detail is remarkable. location was absolutely perfect to spend a few days in Akureyri. Right along the main strip, close to everything you could want. Room was big, comfortable, and felt luxurious. Huge windows were a great bonus with curtains that provide a good level of darkness for sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast is lovely - yogurts, oatmeal, toast, etc. coffee was delicious.
