we only spent one night, but were very happy to have stayed at Freyja Guesthouse. the house has a great view on the church, is located in a quiet area, within walking distance to the pedestrian area and the bus station (for the airport link).

Very cozy. Good food. Good location (but go to places may seem to be not that close to the guesthouse during winter and you are from a tropical country or you go with a senior hehe) but everything is so nice, the place and the owners amd staff. If i ever go back to Reykjavik, I will most probably book here again.
