Everything was great! The host welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. Her two dogs are extremely cute! The kitchen had everything we needed (spices, sandwich-maker, coffee machine...) and the shower was clean. Beds were comfy and it was really warm inside the property. The location was convenient, too, because it's close to Selfoss, therefore you have many opportunities to go grocery shopping. It was a very special night for us. Thank you!!

We arrived extremely late in the evening so contactless check in was very appreciated. We also liked that the staff had put a notice which rooms are ours. That helped a lot for us tired tourists. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

I really liked the house, the spacious living room, comfortable beds , and everything is clean , there were many interesting books where you can find everything about Iceland and not only. The host was very hospitable and informed man , and showed us some good routes. A very nice place for stay.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the old school house! Greg and Magnea are very kind and welcoming. This booking is not just a place to sleep but an experience that I would recommend 10/10! The rooms are incredibly cozy and quiet with comfortable beds, the communal areas are super clean and the location is just very special. The surroundings are stunning, you can watch the stars at night from the hottub outside and if you’re there at the right time - catch aurora! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a wonderful place. I booked this place last minute accommodation for one night and it was amazing. The owner is very nice, the room was great and after a cold day it was great to relax in the really hot hot tub! :) Plus you can make yourself a free coffee/tea at the kitchen which was greatly appreciated by me. All in all definitely great place to stay, it was close to Thingvellir National Park.

excellent location- only ten minutes away from Selfoss staff were very friendly and helpful- they showed us some great places on a map breakfast was fabulous- waffles, chocolate spread, toast, cereal, bread, cheese, cold meat, fruit beautiful views comfy beds- the duvet was amazing. I would love to know what it was made from!

Good location.Close to the centre. Supermarkets just around the corner.Very clean property.Modern bathroom. Very nice and friendly host.We arrived very late. Kindly she was waiting for us. I would stay there again, I recommend it.
