This stay was one of our favourites of our entire trip. The host was so generous and kind. Upon hearing of my partner's leg injury, she surprised us with a special tea to help promote healing. We loved the space and the attention to detail was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host customized the breakfast based on a couple conversations we had. Everything was delicious, and we were even given a detailed list, in English, of everything she prepared for us. The breakfasts at this stay were a highlight of our entire trip to Japan. We will definitely try to stay here again when we're back in Kyoto!

The perfect stay! The place is wonderful and looks as a typical Japanese house. The owners are incredibly kind, they welcomed me in the best way ever, explaining me everything about the stay and giving me tips about the city of Kyoto. They can speak many languages as Japanese, English, Italian, Spanish and probably more so the communication wouldn’t be a problem for you. The hotel is located in a very quite are of the city just outside the city-center so perfect to sleep in a white place but also well connected with the touristic areas with buses. The common area is just amazing, about cleaning is perfect and the structure is very technological! If I’ll be back to Kyoto, sure I’ll stay here again, I recommend 100%. The beds were so comfortable and adjustable, the shower was really nice, theres a washing machine which is really convenient, the staff were lovely and helpful

The location is good. Near the shopping center and stations. There’s also a 7/11 nearby. The shared bathroom is always clean and has available amenities for use. There’s also food stalls and restaurants which are all walking distance. I also live that they have a massager in the common room which I used especially after a long walk.

Everything from the point we got there to the minute we left hit the WOW factor! Staff/owners are so friendly, we truly felt welcomed. Breakfast each morning was a treat, I've eaten and worked in high-end restaurants and can honestly say the effort and flavour that was put into each meal, just breakfast was incredible. The rEverythingooms and decor was beautiful, rustic but still spotless not even a scruff mark on a wall. If you get a chance to stay here you will be amazed at every detail! Location was also great, 15 minute walk to city and 15 minute walk to kyoto station.

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

English communication is good. The room is big and beautiful. There is a washing machine. Very nice personal, the owner is so kind asking whether we will need a ride to the Kyoto train station. The tatami + floor heating + Japanese floor mat is so comfortable even in winter! I really enjoy the shared bathing. (You still bath privately, no worry.)
