The host is very nice. There’s something wrong in our travel. Because the language difference, we are hard to solve it. But the host is very nice that he help us to call the police and other car’s company. Then the house is so good. First it have a parking near the house. Then the house like home. So, it is comfortable.

Close to all sightseeing and restaurants. Laundry facilities were available. It's a 7 minute walk to the train station.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

Everything was amazing. The owner was responsive and friendly. Checking in and out were a breeze. The house is extremely clean and spacious. There is an outdoor tub for you to soak in as you enjoy the crisp air, and a sauna to sweat it out if you decide to. There are crockery, cooking utensils, and even drip coffee equipment if you choose to make your own food and drinks. We came in winter and the place was sufficiently warmed with 3 heaters, one in the living room and two on the second floor. There was even an Atari console to play with! The house is located within walking distance from the main shopping and eating district. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

Taku-san was an awesome host, wish I couldve stayed longer. Property feels homey and cozy. If you plan on staying long, you can buy food from the supermarket and cook here. Cleanliness was top notch too! Ive never felt so welcomed before. I times my steps from hostel to Takayama station and it was 9 mins, note that I have short legs and short strides haha

Sleeping in a traditional Ryokan is an immersive experience in the Japanese culture, everything was tidy and organised and the owner showed us the important places to go
