The hotel exudes charm and character, which added to the overall appeal. It felt like staying in a place with a unique personality. One of our favorite aspects was the private garden, providing a serene and secluded space to unwind and enjoy some quiet moments. The spacious suite we stayed in was a welcome surprise, offering plenty of room to relax and spread out during our stay.

Amazing place. It's a small traditional guest house. I chose a private room and had space and privacy. The staff that welcomed me was incredibly nice and helpful. Taketomi is so far my favorite island of the beautiful Yaeyama. The owner very kindly took us on a little night trip to discover wild life. Other guests are extremely thoughtful so even if the rooms are not sound proofed, I slept very well. I am very thankful and will be back!

Hosts are kind and provide quality breakfast and welcoming drinks. Even got a foot bath with beautiful flowers. The room is charming and one can hear great jazz or classical music during breakfast time. Like staying in a liitle museum with plants, collector stamps and book on Hygge.

Our hosts were very accommodating and provided a futon for our teen daughter. The breakfasts were wonderful! Our wonderful hosts were also able to provide us with 3 bicycles at half the price of rental from the town centre. They are lovely people.
