Everything at Bongs is wonderful! I planed to stay for four nights and extended to seven. It is a great location with an amazing view of the bay, the rooms are in good condition and have shelving/storage/locked cabinet, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. I ate at least one meal there every day and loved everything, especially the homemade bread. The staff is very friendly and helpful with answering questions.

Omg - Where do I start? Sam is lovely! The house is lovely! The village is lovely! This whole island is lovely!! The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. But the downside is that you have to say goodbye to them ♥️

Ellen made us feel at home immediately. We felt so comfortable here in her beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cool with the over head fan. The property also has a great balcony with hammock and view over the village. Ellen gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat in the bay as the food there is excellent. We didn’t want to leave.

Anyone who hasn't come to live in his house, I'll be sorry for you. Very clean and tidy room, cool at night, no mosquitoes. There's a beautiful garden out front where you can lie in a hammock all day. Mon and his wife are very warm and friendly. Their babies are cute, too. The neighbors are also very welcoming. Close to the beach, you can pay a little money to have a delicious lunch at his house, which is cheaper than outside restaurants. Anyone coming to this island I recommend renting a canoe for $5 and paddling around the island for an afternoon. Much more exciting than surfing and diving. Unfortunately, the vacation is too short. I wish I could stay at his house for a long time. Thanks Angel Mon！I will definitely recommend many Chinese friends to come to your home, I hope you and your family will always be happy!

First of all, the location of this guesthouse is really exceptional, you'll find the most beautiful garden where you can watch the sunset and sip some excellent juices (big up to the banana and peanut butter smoothie 😋). We ate there one evening and the food was all excellent. We came for a short break on a island after a three month trip, we extended our stay by three more nights (and it wasn't enough) because we felt so good there, our hosts were so kind... we felt at home as soon as we arrived. This island has a magical energy and Tasha and Christen make this place even more magical, thanks to their welcome and their kindness.

Just a few meters from the beach (on the path that leads to Sunset Beach) you’ll find this adorable place with rustic decoration, fan and hot shower. Beds are equipped with a mosquito net and pillows are confortable, and all of their staff are nice folks, always looking forward to help or even have a nice conversation 🙂

Rob, the owner, is warm and welcoming. Upon booking, he provided us with valuable information that made our stay on the island hassle free and enjoyable. He was very responsive to all our questions. The property is close to the beach and each day we woke up to the soothing sound of the waves. The room is clean and comfortable. The property also has plenty of space for you to enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book, and make you feel relaxed. We absolutely loved our stay at the Beach House.

12/10 would stay here again! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect; a two minute walk to the beach and is near bars/restaurants. The staff/owners are the kindest people and put in a lot of care to ensure that their guests are comfortable. Our biggest regret about the whole trip was that we never ordered Mela's famous dumplings! We know better for next time though. Cannot recommend enough!
