I stayed there for 6 nights, and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only was the room super comfortable, but the location was perfect. Dining at the restaurant is the best; the food is delicious, and I tried a bit of everything. And the staff is the best—friendly, helpful in every way, and a great atmosphere. Loved it.

We absolutely loved our time on koh rong sanloem and at Sam’s guesthouse. She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.

Burada kaldığımız süre boyunca huzur dolduk. İşletme sahibi bizi çok sevecen karşıladı ve keyifli sohbetler ettik. Kesinlikle samimi ve içten bir aile ortamı. Odalar gayet temiz, dizayn oldukça doğal. Odaların kapısı yemyeşil bir bahçeye açılıyor. Hamakta uzanmak ve etraftaki civcivler sayesinde köy hissini yaşamak inanılmaz. Ayrıca denize de oldukça yakın. Gece yatağınızda uzanırken dalga seslerini dinlemeniz mümkün. Kesinlikle bu sıcak ortamı yaşamanızı tavsiye ederim.Teşekkürler Simon ve tatlı ailesi. I stayed in a hostel just up the road and had a terrible night's sleep so walked down the road to find a better alternative. I stopped in to get the amazing peanut butter and banana smoothie and started talking to Tash... the next thing you know... I've booked to stay for a week. It is the perfect vibe, with an amazing menu, amazing cocktails, incredible people and even the locals go there for happy hour! I loved it so much, I didn't even bother going to Koh Rong because it was absolute paradise! Tash was the best host I've ever had and I miss her already ❤️❤️❤️

Firstly, the location is fantastic. The bungalows are a super short walk from the Orchid Pier. Secondly, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Thirdly, they give you a 20 liter jug of water that you can use for drinking water (this is all included). The beds were comfortable, the fan worked great, and the mosquito net did it's job. While there is no restaurant on site, several nice places to eat are a short stroll away. After staying at the more "luxury" places along the beach during previous stays on the island, we felt more at home and more comfortable at Sunny Bungalows.

Honestly, my best stay in Cambodia and I’ve been to Cambodia 3 times already so that says a lot about this place. Here I felt so welcomed and loved people here. The staff were so friendly and nice. The room is cute and cozy. The lounge area is also cozy and full of various of seats. They offer free kayaks and snorkeling mask. Also, you gotta try their cocktail Espresso Bikini. It’s the best!

12/10 would stay here again! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect; a two minute walk to the beach and is near bars/restaurants. The staff/owners are the kindest people and put in a lot of care to ensure that their guests are comfortable. Our biggest regret about the whole trip was that we never ordered Mela's famous dumplings! We know better for next time though. Cannot recommend enough!
