There is a bus stop within a 10-minute walk that leads to Seoraksan, and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to Seoraksan itself. Perfectly located as base for exploring Seoraksan national park, surrounding area was a little bit quiet as written by other traveller, but it was totally safe and convenient. Reason behind lots of surrounding hotek closed was due to accident MV Sewol in 2014, where school students on field trip were lost thus Seoraksan as the no 1 destination for school fieldtrip took the biggest impact after no more school fieldtrip are allowed anymore. Facilities are not newest, but well maintained, clean, convenient and the best was the kind friendly owner, Mrs. Kim, despite language barrier tried her best to exchange, felt warm welcomed. Highly recommended!
