We stayed 3 nights at Simoya. Madhu and Sanjee were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The room was to a high standard and had everything you needed, including a fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was huge but very tasty and we also ate dinner there for all 3 of the nights we stayed. In all honesty, Im not sure where else we could have eaten in the local area which was at the same quality as Madhu and Sanjee's cooking. We went to the top of Pidurangala rock for an extra fee at sunrise which was well worth the money. We also paid Sanjee for a transfer to Kandy which was at a reasonable rate. Both Sanjee and Madhu were perfect hosts and really lovely people. The one thing I would say that I have found throughout Sri Lanka is to check costs before agreeing to things but that advice goes throughout and everything additional we paid for we felt was worth the money.

The ownder is one of the most kindest person I ever met. Super helpfull and you can feel that he loves doing his job as a host. Rooms are perfectly clean and the beds are comfortable. I enjoyed many swims in the clean pool and resting on the chairs next to it. Internet also is reliable and fast. Can hightly reccomend to go on a tuktuk tour with Chandala. He knows many people and places. Breakfast was plentyfull and different every day.

Beautiful property, you get that jungle feeling while staying here. Cozy & tidy room, comfortable bed, everything's clean. Ac works great, there's an electric kettle to make some tea or coffee, delicious breakfast. Great location if you like to stay closer to the nature. They also offer scooter rent and can get you a lift with a tuk tuk. Walking distance to Royal Cave Temple. I really liked it here!

Everything at Aloe vera guest house was just lovely. The surroundings was sooo beautiful and the owner and his wife was so friendly! He showed us all around Dambula and Sigiriya for a really good price and we are so so happy with our stay. I would really recommend staying at this guesthouse because you get to see so much more here compared to if you would only stay in sigirya! Also a big plus with this guesthouse is that the owner and his wife make a really good breakfast for you! And that have cute puppies! Thanks!
