We had a great time at Nilowin. Shan, his brother and the rest of the family make you feel very welcome. They do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Place is just a 10-minute walk to the town and very easy to find. The value for money is probably the best I saw recently. I was in a king room with mountain view and everything was perfect. The owner was super friendly. I extended my stay for another night as it was so good.

host was super sweet and helpful, food was AMAZING (get the Sri Lankan breakfast and eat it outside on the rock tables, you won’t be disappointed). view is really lovely. accomodation is basic and cosy and clean abs there is a local bar attached so sometimes there are cute parties. located 4 mins tuk tuk or 15 mins walk from the train station. all round cute place and great value for money

This was a fantastic property with beautiful views. The reception staff was amazing. also the waiters where good also. The food was good and good reasonable prices. Was quiet peaceful and beautiful tranquil place.

Beautiful guesthouse with massive rooms, big bed, warm shower and cosy blankets. The host was very friendly and introduced us into his home with warmth. The breakfast was delicious and the view was amazing, even though it was a little cloudy whilst we were there. It would be even better on a sunny day. We will definitely return here again when we return to Haputale. Highly recommend staying here. Great value, definitely worth the money and more!
