I only stayed one night but it was the perfect room to rest, get a good sleep and get sorted. It is very clean, well furnished (you will find a desk and a suitcase bench) and comfy. The common area has a nice colonial style and there is free tee and coffee (self service). The terrace has a lovely view with a holllywood swing. The owner is very helpful and even gave me fruits as a snack for my travels.

The location was gorgeous. The views from the balcony were amazing. It’s suitable for families, couples or friends. The hosts were extremely helpful and very friendly, they arranged transport for us and their house is right beside a tea plantation. The room was comfortable and clean. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Well, what can we say about Top View that hasn’t been said by many other reviewers already… Prianti and ‘Hubby’ are most likely the kindest, most generous and loving people you might ever meet. We were immediately welcomed with warm regards and a cup of tea. The rooms here are spacious and clean and the shower is just right! The shared balcony boasts an amazing view of Hatton and the surrounding tea hills behind. The service here is more akin to spending quality time with friends than being waited on by ‘staff’. We were treated to delicious breakfasts and filling dinners, home cooked by Prianti herself. The food is restaurant quality and should not be skipped out on. Arguably the best place to get food in Hatton! Tuk tuk rides can be also arranged for you at a reasonable price if you wish to visit Adams peak and so on. Our stay at top view was made so enjoyable and relaxed that we left with a lump in our throats and a date in mind already for when we will return. Top View is top notch! We had an incredible time! They prepared the most amazing food for us. During our stay they arranged multiple tours for us to all the places we wanted to see for fair prices. They made us feel like home. We would highly recommend staying here!

the family running the stay are very nice, I booked budget room but I was upgraded to the deluxe room with balcony facing the river at no extra cost. I ended up extending my stay as I liked the Homestay, family and area so much. The included breakfast was delicious and I was given options of what I wanted (not been offered that anywhere else) I had dinner every evening as the home cooked rice and curry was so tasty. plenty of options on day trips and things to do provided by the family. bed super comfy and really nice hot showers. I loved my stay here. I’d definitely stay again
