I’ve travelled to many countries and stayed in some amazing accommodation and this is one of my favourite places of all time. A truly authentic and surreal experience. We felt like we’re staying in a colonial palace in the sky. Truly memorable and amazing experience. Incredibly relaxing and tranquil. I would come back to Sri Lanka just come back and stay at Villa Rosa! The staff were incredible, and very kind, and helpful. Food was authentic, high quality and delicious.

We slept one night in Kandy to catch the train to Ella. We had a very pleasent stay. The food was amazing. The host took really effort in it. The place is also really calm in the nature. A lot of plants and animals live in the garden. We even saw a big turtle. The room is clean and quite luxe. We defenitely could stay longer.

Absolut helpful and polite host! You can ask everything. She has food recommendations. She helped us to organize our hiking trips to knuckles mountain range. The breakfast was absolutely stunning ( ask for the Sri Lanka version ) and of course she is always good for good for a nice chat :) the room super nice maintained and the view was breathtaking! We will come definitely back
