Hosts are very helpful and accommodating, they welcomed us with fresh mint tea and Moroccan pastries ,provided good tips on what to see and where to go. The riad is very nicely decorated in Moroccan traditional style, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good with various Moroccan breads / pastries and additions: honey, marmalade, butter, olives ,eggs , fruits - and served earlier upon request. Definitely recommend !

Our host Said and his wife went over and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. The room was clean, breakfast was great. Restaurants, places of interest and even printing services were only a short walk away. Said and his family always helped us if we had any questions, even took us personally to a recommended restaurant. They were welcoming and provided excellent service to all the guests staying there. Thank you again for the lovely experience!

Yes, it’s that good. Being new to Fes and needing to find our feet, Abdul was the perfect person to assist us to do it. After meeting us at the Bab Rcif we were welcomed with a cup of mint tea and local pastries while he helped us to familiarise ourselves with the area. For those interested in day trips to Chefchaouen and Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss etc Abdul has the goods. He provided us with a very detailed walking map of the medina area and useful information about the must-visits. The location of the riad was fantastic; easy to find, strategic for visiting the medina as well as being a petit taxi pick-up point. The riad seems to have undergone recent renovation as everything looks new and fresh. The placement of every feature in the bedroom and bathroom: furniture, fixtures and fittings seemed to have been considered for maximum efficiency in mind. What impressed me most was that there is no sign of the stench that seems to pervade the bathrooms of old makeover buildings. I also didn’t have to struggle with maintaining a fixed temperature while having a shower unlike the case in some other riads! Meanwhile my partner loves that he can easily access 5G internet. The complimentary breakfast was no ho hum affair either. It was delicious and abundant and the menu was changed daily. Abdul’s mother and sister Fatima are good cooks and you can ask them to prepare lunch or dinner for you. We absolutely love Fatima’s lamb couscous. Frankly for the price we paid we certainly did not anticipate this level and quality of service! It was a real steal! Thank you Abdul for being so accommodating and helpful. Thank you for the tips about taking petit taxis like a local and Fatimah for taking in and folding our clothes. We are indeed blessed to have stayed 3 nights here. Hands down this is our favourite accommodation during our 17D trip around the country!

The best thing about the riad is the people who run the place. Everyone was exceptionally helpful . One staff member even helped me look for a specific location in the medina that would’ve been difficult to find by myself.

Lovely welcome into the country. Arrived in the evening and had pre-booked a taxi with the riad. The taxi driver was lovely and gave great tips of what to do in Fes. I would recommend getting a taxi booked as you can easily get lost. We where then welcomed into the riad with mint tea and biscuits which was lovely. We had also ordered food which I will say is a must to try out Hannah is an AMAZING Cook. Loved the riad itself, lovely moroccan architecture with such lovely little details. The beds where very comfy and clean. I would just like to say thank you to Hannah who really made our trip memorable. We would always come back with her smiling which made our day and her food was great- she's an amazing cook. Though there was a language barrier she would always try and communicate with us which was very thoughtful. Overall we really enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend this riad to anyone coming to fes.

The most polite and district people we met in Morocco. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and different types of bread/pita. Great location, very close to the central road and the heart of the Medina. Beautiful and quiet atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, with windows and a really comfortable bed.

Amazing Riad in the heart of the Medina. As we arrived at the Blue Gate in Fes, the owner Karim came to pick us up (8 min walk) and welcomed us to the Riad with a fresh mint tea. The riad itself is astonishingly quiet and beautiful. Definitely a big plus to escape from the busy medina streets. Eleborate breakfast was served every morning. Karim and his staff were great hosts, very polite and happy to help with every need.

Great location, inside the Medina, in a walking distance from the main attractions. In Riad Sidrat we felt as living in a typical Maroc house, with great hosts (thanks Miriem) always available to support and guide us during our stay. And what to say about the breakfast? Just check the pics :) A place to recomend and to repeat!

We arrived at our Riad and found it to be in an excellent central location, right off the main street of the Medina, just far enough down a safe alleyway to be in a quiet location. Our great host was having a birthday party for a family member when we arrived and he offered us to join them. It was a nice gesture and we got to be immersed in local culture with nice tea and snacks. We also enjoyed very nice breakfasts in the nicely Moroccan decorated interior.
