I was the only one in the hotel which was pretty special. So I was really catered to . The room was spacious with a large window over looking the lagoon. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. She even spoke English which was a plus

Everything was great here, hospitality, the views, noise level, quiet neighborhood, close to important stuff. You just walk down the path by the gate to the beach, and then catch a boat-taxi to the other side (should cost 50 dirham there and back). There are also little restaurants on the beach with fresh fish and shrimp, but note that sometimes it is very windy and can get sandy. In April, the water was a tad cold so we didn't swim, but lots of local tourists did swim. El Manzar is similar to the luxury hotels in the area in terms of views, etc, but the price is much more reasonable. The breakfast was super good. Noura and Amal are the sweetest people and we really enjoyed getting to know them. They are both cat lovers and seem to care for the animals that are around. We made a small donation for animal care. Next to El Manzar is a big villa-rental with peacocks. It's funny to hear them screaming (doesn't bother us in terms of sleeping, i think they sleep at night too, just funny during the day). And of course, the stork mosque is in view as well. A bird lovers paradise. I recommend checking out the roof terrace. Also, if you don't book the ocean front view (we didn't), you'll probably be a bit jealous. There is the big living room downstairs though, so you still get a nice view to relax in. It was a bit foggy a few days, which blocked the beach view but was actually super cool to see as well.

Breakfast was Simple but Good. Room was basic and simple but too expensive 69$ i found it away too expensive, i asked hotel and they replied we charge usually 30$ but beause of booking i was charged over double price due weekend and last mintue, that s very tricky and unpleasant dirty game of boooking.com to take adventage and raise up to such levels. We are theives and we work hard for our money so prices must be fair. I don t blame hotel since when i booked and inserted my card details booking debited me 69$ which is not cool. Anyway hotel worth 5* and i recommand people to call hotel directly and book with cheap price instead of being abused by booking system.
