We loved this place. It felt very peaceful with that nice garden in the middle. Our room had two showers which is a nice touch. They cleaned our room daily and gave us a bottle of water every day. They also arranged our transfers to/from airport, waited for us at the port and gave us fresh coconut for welcome. We took two excursions, whale sharks and sunset fishing and they were both fun. At the end you have to pay conservation fee (72 $), whale sharks (80$), fishing (50$ + day after they made us dinner with fish we caught and charged it extra 20$ per person), transfers (60$ per person one way). Location is in the village, there is a few shops and restaurants very near. We saw some hotels that charge more but because there is a lot of construction work or their location is directly on the street they can't ensure the kind of privacy this place has.

The rooms are very clean and modern. The reception area/restaurant look really nice. Breakfast and dinner very delicious. Especially the Kothu Roshi. :) The staff was very helpful.

Ostrvo je prelepo, priroda je divna, ima puno koralnih grebena za ronjenje. Hotel se nalazi na najboljoj lokaciji, 50 m od bikini plaze, a izlazi direktno na plazu i okolo je lepa priroda. Koga ne zanima, ne mora ni da ide u lokalno selo, obzirom da u hotelu sve imate sto vam treba. Hrana je dobra, posebno vecera. Organizacija puta, prevoz speedboat - om, docek na ostrvu i sve ostalo su nam organizovali iz hotela, i sve je bilo super i na vreme. osoblje je jako ljubazno, svi su divni i zele da vam izadju u susret sta god treba. Sobe su takve kao i na slikama, uredno je, redovno menjaju posteljinu i peskire, a svaki dan dobijete i nove peskire za plazu i vodu. isli smo na ekskurziju preko hotela, na ronjenje sa whale sharks, i bilo je odlicno. sve pohvale za njih i hvala im.

Just next to the beach in the beautiful island of Dhigurah. Room was small but very comfortable and nicely decorated, we didn’t spend much time there anyway. The food is very good with more variety than other restaurants in the island. The people were super friendly and helpful. You can organize excursions directly with them. The roof top is beautiful, among the palms but when we were there not many people was using it.

This is our second time coming to the Maldives, the first time in Dhigurah. Akiri is a brand new facility, a family boutique hotel, in a quiet location, very clean, with beautiful wooden furniture, and we felt great in it. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. especially the manager Jumaan and Gayan, the young man who served us breakfast and who tidied up the room and made sure we always had fresh water, clean towels and made beautiful art installations on the bed. We also went on a trip where we went diving with whales dog. We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights (with a delicious breakfast included) and on the last evening, the owners of the hotel treated us to a delicious dinner prepared by the owner's mother and sister. If we had not already booked a stay further away, on another island, we would have stayed in Akira and we cried because we were leaving. All recommendations for Akiri Dhigurah and see you again!

It felt like I am at a relative's place for a vacation! The host and all the staffs were amazing, and they kept doing their best to provide me with the best experiences. The room was clean and comfortable as well. Great location close to the ocean.

Big, modern room with very clean bathroom. Daily cleaning was also great. Staff was exceptional, they helped us with pretty much everything. Answering our tons of questions before we arrive, arranging our pick up from the airport and welcoming us at the harbour personally… And preparing a birthday cake for my wife. I don’t know what to say, we are very grateful for choosing Dhigurah Cottage.
