Large room overlooking the pool. Secure gated parking. Good breakfast with made to order eggs. TV had lots of English channels. Huge bathroom with large new bathtub. In fact, the whole house seemed to be newly constructed or recently renovated. Everything modern and clean. The pool area is inviting but it happened to be raining the day I was there. The location is between the Roman site and the pousada Palace. Otherwise, not too much in town, but a good stopping place to enjoy a highly rated accommodation.

A szállás igazán nagypolgárian elegáns volt, anno egy neves portugál politikus család lakta még a XIX. században. Szépen rendben tartott ház. A lakosztály pazar volt. A reggeli bőséges és változatos.

Firstly, the location: if you don't drive, don't choose this place. If you do, then it's one of those rare gems that needs to be nourished! Located in the hills, in quite possibly one of the most beautiful locations in the Algarve, just outside Bordeira, and near to Santa Barbara de Nexe, the views from the guest house are spectacular. This is classed as a rural guest house, but I have never seen such a well equipped and spacious kitchen, if you want to self cater, in my life. It is out of this world, equally, the guest lounge and dining room, all occupying the top floor, are like a TV location set. Four en suite rooms and again, nothing left out. This place is an absolute gem. I would stay anytime here. Even has central heating for those chilly winter evenings. 10/10 from me.

Everything is perfect!! Extremely large and comfortable bed. Super clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is coffee, tea, olive oil and salt too.

The room modern and very clean. my room had an en suit bathroom with great shower. The owner Joao was very welcoming. Plenty of good restaurants close by.

Lovely place with south facing terraces to have breakfast and fully equipped kitchen. Beds very comfy with proper down duvet for cold days. Lovely host with two friendly dogs and a cat - what's not to like ? Highly recommended
