It was a perfect stay in a historic house, 12 minutes from the bus station, next to the old town. Very attentive staff, who responded to non-standard requests such as too late arrival or too early breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. Would definitely recommend!

The room was big, comfortable and the hosts, Fatima and Bruno were excellent. I highly recommend their establishment. Their B&B is located in the historic city centre within walking distance from most places of historical significance. Good restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. are all within a 5-minute walk. Tip - take a guided walking tour through Guimaraes. It's absolutely worth it! Also, if you like walking or cycling, their are a few cycle lanes and paths that take you up high so you can see the city from above.

Beautiful surroundings, park full of flowers and plants, pool with shady areas and lots of peace. The breakfast was astonishing and served on the terrace. Excellent wine, incredible location full of history. Our room had a canopied bed, what a childhood dream! Guimaraes with its many restaurants and beautiful old town is just a 15 minute drive away. However, it's also possible to get lunch and dinner at the Casa - you can order it in the office. We were so happy in this little paradise, we didn't want to leave.

Quinta da Cancela is an amazing place. First of all, the location is beautiful, with vinyards all around, a big lush garden, and a small pool. Then, our room was charming snd cos, And finally, Arthur, our host, was so welcoming and generous with advice regarding the area, with his explanations about wine production and the wine industry, and his heritage stories. We enjoyed his wines as well. Highly recommemded!!!

The room was spacious, very well equiped, with nice furniture. The building is old but very well renovated. The bathroom was modern and clean. It was a great value for money! Great location, too!
