I had the best time at Solar de Santo Andre. Eduarda is a great hostess and the whole team at Solar de Santo Andre is very accommodating, hospitable, helpful and friendly. The house has been painstakingly renovated and the old rooms from earlier times have been made incredibly beautiful. The rooms, which are open to the public, are reminiscent of how Ponta Delgada used to be and how people used to live there. The guest rooms are very modern and equipped with all the necessary details to make you want to spend time there. I had booked the studio and was absolutely satisfied. The rooms are nicely furnished, are cleaned daily and you have everything you need for your vacation. Breakfast is served in the kitchen with a large table where all guests can sit down. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires: different types of bread, a selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee or tea is served as well as a homemade juice that varies daily. All guests meet at breakfast and the room invites you to chat. The garden with pool is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day. I had a wonderful time at the Solar de Santo Andre and can only recommend anyone to stay there!

The host was very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, close to all the points of interest, shops and bars. Especially good if you don’t rent a car. The rooms and common areas were very spacious.

Everything was perfect and beyond expectations. The room looks the same as on the pictures. Emanuel gave a lot of tips and sent us a written guidance to the island. He did his best to make our trip memorable. We really liked how he prepared with towels for the beach, hot springs and enough in the bathroom as well. + It was one of the cleanest place I've ever been. He really thought about everything. excellent vacation appartement! well equipped, great sea view, an almost-exclusive swimming pool and a natual pool at the doorstep. Not too far from the center, located in a calm area with restaurants in walking distance.

I loved everything about the breakfast. Pastries were fresh and I am unable to say where I have had better eggs and bacon... You can eat while enjoying panoramic view of the sea and landscape, but are smartly sheltered from wind and rain. Best of all Miguel very personally yet not intrusively goes from table to table with maps and advises about where and what you might look at. The guidance was flawless
