The staff is very nice, they served fresh fruit, coffee and toast with local jam every morning. The tortoises were cute. The location is exceptional, the ocean is a few steps away. The rooms were also nice and clean with a view. Our sliding door had to be replaced so they moved us to another apartment which was even bigger..

Just a superb holiday home. Veronique and Vanessa are fantastic hosts, helpful, friendly, welcoming, providing exceptional service. Far better than any 5 star resort. Holiday home is very well stocked, exceptionally clean. Welcome goodies provided for cooking and items for breakfast provided were a nice touch. Swimming pool great for soaking with nice view to the ocean. Beautifully maintained property with fruit trees. Secure gate property for parking the car. Bit difficult to find the house initially but great location minutes from the main east coast road, very handy for exploring both the west and east coast of the island. Julie's takeaway a few minutes away is fantastic for buying dinner or lunch with big portions of excellent creole food. Seychelles is a wonderful culture destination that can be made affordable by staying in the exceptional local guesthouses, eating local foods at the takeaways and shopping for local fruits, veggies, fish at the market stands around the islands. Service provided at Emma's is the best one will encounter anywhere in the world. Several days are needed to see all the many sights on Mahe.

The rooms are very spacious with good working air conditioning. Very clean property. The breakfast was supper with eggs and local fruits, usually passion fruit, mango, and banana. We also had pancakes few times. The hosts are nice couple to chat with. They are willing to cook local meals at fair price. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to all travelers looking for home like atmosphere. I will certainly return to Julie's Holiday Home on my next trip to Mahe.

A very comfortable bed, queen size, with a nice common area (kitchen and dinning room). Excellent Wi-Fi. Free parking on Eden Island in front of the accommodation was a plus!
