Our stay at Chalets des Vacances was amazing. The crew was very nice and helpful. The room was big, clean, had a full kitchen and everything 2 adults and a 4 yo child might need. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt at home. You must have a car, we drove around the island and saw all the beaches. We has dinner there twice and the food was delicious. It's a bit hard to find on Google maps, look for le reduit restaurant, it's right next to it. Threre is a nice 15 min hike down the hill through the forest and some local houses, to get to Takamaka Beach. A local named Dariel that lives close and is the son a lady that works there, took us on a 45 min hike to the Rock pool, which was amazing. It was free of charge even though I offered to pay for him guiding us. I tried to find the was by myself but couldn't find it. Even though the rock pool looks beautiful, I don't recommend swimming there since once in a while, even during low tide, I big wave can get in and pull you out. We had a great time and I highly recommend the place.

This place is really exceptional! It was our honeymoon. They had prepared our room beforehand for that. It was a very nice gesture. Thank you so much :) The property is located in a very quiet area. It has a beautiful garden with turtles, peacocks and other animals. It has a small beach which hosted the most amazing sunset I have ever seen in my entire life. Unfortunately, because the season we visited, the sea was wavy, so we couldn't swim there. Still, there are nice beaches nearby like Anse Intendance and Takamaka Beach. You might need to consider that the property is bit far from the city center (~45 mins by car). It's the best choice to be alone with nature. Still, to go other places/beaches, I strongly recommend to rent a car beforehand. We failed to do so, but the property owner was so kind that she dropped us to Anse Forbans one day and to the city center the other day. The rooms are very spacious and incredibly clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. They are also fully equipped to cook. You can have breakfast and dinner for additional cost. We had breakfast with eggs, bacon/fish, lots of fruits, fresh squeezed fruit juice, bread/croissants; and dinner with smoked fish salad, rice, fish with Seychellois sauce, coconut pie. They were very delicious and the portions are very satisfying. Strongly recommended. Meals are served at your room because of Covid. So you can have your meal while enjoying the nice view from your balcony.

We have been stayed in this place with my family for two weeks and we loved it. John the host is a very nice person makes you feel at home, very helpful with quick response to anything you need and available all the time.He organized car rental service and gave us a lot of information about the city. He is super friendly my son got attached with him and to the place after the stay. He has also wonderful life time experiences and stories. The place has beautiful views to the ocean and surrounded with green trees and very close to Surfers beach. I would suggest anyone to stay at this house.

Is a beautiful property with an incredible view. Is 10’-15’ away from Baie Lazare Public beach. Michel and his wife are really nice and kind people. I recommend to rent a car while staying in Mahe, this way you have the mobility to go wherever you want and is easier to get to the property. Otherwise, is possible to find it a bit difficult to get to the property.

Beautiful location. Amazing view. And Ludmilla is such an awesome host. From initial communication, to pick up, breakfast, guidance regarding places to visit…everything about her and the stay was fantastic. It felt like staying with a dear aunt. Also added advantage is her son Alex who runs his own tour company. His knowledge about the islands and amazingly scenic places to visit was the best thing for us as first time visitors. Not to forget his fantastic cooking skills …the fish on the last day was an absolute delight. Thanks for everything Ludmilla and Alex. You guys made our short visit an absolutely wonderful experience to be cherished forever.

We went to this apartment a group of 4 friends and the experience could not have been better. They let us in in the morning, ahead of time and only upon arrival Michelle and Anil were waiting for us and we were greeted with tropical fruits and passion fruit juice. Michelle was very friendly and we were able to chat about life on the island and gave us useful recommendations. Make sure you visit the botanical garden, which is very close to the house, we all loved it. Anil was very attentive and changed our sheets and towels every 2 days. It is for sure the best apartment in the Seychelles in price- quality ratio and we could not feel more welcomed by the hostess, she even gave us a little detail the last day. I'm a bit of a mess and I left a piece of clothing at the house but she managed to bring it to me a few days later, no words to describe how angel is she! Thank you very very much Michelle, we hope to see you soon!

Guest house is always kept clean and tidy. Swimming pool is very well maintained. Guidance provided by Ms.Mavis is most informative and very useful for sightseeing. Hassle free and most economical transport arrangements are made by Ms.Mavis that really made our trip very comfortable and memorable. Seychelles is exceptionally beautiful place to visit and Grann kaz guest house is centrally located that facilities very convenient access to all important tourist spots. If I were to have one more chance to visit Seychelles, I would definitely prefer to stay in Grann kaz guest house. We are thankful to Ms.Mavis for making our trip inexpensive by her proper guidance. We also would like to thank Mr.Jagath for his support during our stay in the guest house.

The property is affordable and good value for money. Modern finishes, the attention to detail with the decor, the jacuzzi. I’m t was breathtaking clean his and her basin the lighting on the mirror and a gorgeous shower with a niche. I literally loved everything. The pictures on booking.com don’t justice to place.
