Everything is very clean. No shoes are allowed inside so the floors are spotless. The bed is huge and it's comfortable. Aircon is not noisy. Next to the pier, which is great if you use public transport (boats). You can eat cheap breakfast from 7 AM, scrambled eggs, fruit, sandwich, and so on. A lot of plants around, not noisy.

Returning to this guesthouse feels like coming home, where the rooms and facilities gleam with cleanliness. The staff's unfailing friendliness adds warmth to every stay, ensuring you're always provided with cold bottled water. For 15 years, it has been my sanctuary in Bangkok. In this area you realy experience city's authentic charm with nearby foodmarkets, street vendors, and welcoming locals. Nestled in a serene yet central location near a temple, the pier and delightful riverside restaurants, it remains my favorite spot to unwind and explore the true essence of Bangkok.

Awesome view from room. You could see temple next guesthouse and Wat Saket from your your windows and balcony. Everything looked new, nothing was damaged. It was clean. Small local market nearby, 7 / 11 too. Breakfast was in their cafe 3 minutes walk from guesthouse or you can just eat at market. Owners were very friendly, helpfull, gave a lot of tips for food, attractions. And if you greet locals while walking through little alleys, they smile and even talk to you back. I really enjoyed people on hotel / cafe and neigborhood.

The staff were wonderfully warm and hospitable - they were most helpful when we needed a shirt ironed for dinner. The breakfasting was outstanding!! The afternoon tea was delightful and a lovely touch! The location, while it may seem removed from the city was actually very convenient to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho etc. and only a short walk/taxi/Grab away from the rest. It is clear that no expense has been spared in the restoration of the building, with all the modern amenities like AC, showers with great hot water/pressure, and beautiful antiques lining the place. Accommodations like this just don't exist anymore! Wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you for a truly lovely stay.

Calm old house in a lively part of the historical city centre - you find mini restaurants, food stands, cafés and even a street market for vegetables, seafood etc. (Trok Mor *morning* market) very close by. Grand Palace, Kao San, and much nicer: Ram Buttri and Dam Den quarters are all easily walkable. The lady and also the maid are extremely nice, welcome & farewell drink and snack were served, wondering fil Thai breakfast .... And after a night flight, I was given full check-in at 9am without surcharge!

The hotel is the centre of bangkok. Near a lot of tourist locations. We brought a small car but ut is easier to use cab or bike. The breakfast was very nice and served in a very homely setting. The staff was helpfull and very friendly.
