Absolutely fabulous! Our host was incredibly helpful, well informed and thoughtful. He and his wife know the area so well including all restaurant options. The breakfast blew us away. I counted 31 dishes/ types of bread/ cheese! We highly recommend La Regina Ven!

Ett riktigt smultronställe beläget i de äldre delarna av Famagusta precis bredvid Lala Mustafa mosken. Hotellet är en liten oas mitt i stan med en vacker trädgård. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten var utmärkt och det var gott om restauranger, cafeer och barer i närheten. Detta ställe rekommenderas varmt.

What a lovely welcome and stay! We felt part of the family immediately. They were so kind and thoughtful and we enjoyed their company. The garden is a delight, full of plants, herbs and salad, with shady places to sit. The rooms have traditional Cypriot furniture and artifacts. We had a delicious evening meal with the family and breakfast too – everything fresh from the garden or hand-made. You could not find a more friendly and welcoming place to stay. We highly recommend Mystery House for single travellers and families – everyone!

We enjoyed the location, right in the center of the old town, near lots of bars and restaurants. This could have been noisy as there is a lot of music at night, but the house has good sound-proofing. The house is roomy, with a comfortable sofa and armchair in the living room, extra chairs in the bedrooms, a little back terrace which is good for a morning coffee. The kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking and the oven and hotplates work well. There were some novels to read, which was a nice touch. Having a washing machine was great. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We often walked to the Varosha beach which took about 30 minutes and was lovely, with a nice little beach cafe. Overall, A charming place to stay.

The owner was very friendly, We love the house it was very clean, and everything extra blankets towels, and snacks was, simply loved.

Location was a very short walk from the main square, and the main town was a short drive. The accommodation was clean, tidy and the facilities were excellent. Host left snacks in the house and left a present for use for New Year the following day, very thoughtful and much appreciated. Great communication. He also gave use recommendations for eating in the local area. Maps and local information was also available at the house.

The breakfast was good with 3 kinds of cheese, olives and tomatoes and some sausage too. The only thing I would change in the menu is the bread. It would be nice to substitute the toast bread with regular Turkish bread. It surely goes better with breakfast in Turkey :)
