Very cute and full of details and plants. Very lovely staff, will accomodate you no matter what you need. They were really helpful trying to figure out the parking, they’re happy to pay for you and then you reimburse them, as parking can be tricky on the Main Street. Will definitely come back again! 🥰

A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

Very nice apartment in the old town with an amazing view. The balcony is very beautiful. The location is also convenient, if you need to use a bus station, Avtogara Yug is nearby. Close to different shops, cafes and restaurants. The host was very helpful, especially when we needed info connected how to get from Plovdiv to Veliko Tarnovo by bus (the host helped us to check the bus schedule). I'd recommend to visit Veliko Tarnovo not in August but another time as it's stuffy and hot in my opinion, it's a very picturesque city worth visiting.

Offering a garden and garden view, Guest House Gurkov is situated in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 1.9 km from Tsarevets Fortress and 1.8 km from Forty Martyrs Church. Located just a block off the main thoroughfare, Hotel Gurkov offers expansive views of Veliko Tărnovo, basilicas, monuments and the surrounding hills and river valley. The rooms are newly furnished, comfortable, and very clean. Linens were crisp and the WiFi fast and secure. Our room was on the third floor and featured a terrace to survey this lovely former capitol of Bulgaria. Restaurants and shops are an easy three minute walk slightly downhill from the hotel. Our Host was very gracious! She provides an included breakfast buffet in a charming dining room, flooded with light from large windows. There are also two outdoor covered terraces as gathering spaces. A communal refrigerator is located for guests in sitting areas on each floor.
