Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

All units in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. Units have a private bathroom, a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while some rooms also boast a balcony and some have garden views. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. I honestly think it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Brazil. the location is stunning, it is so nice that the house has its own deck. it makes it so much easier to get there, take a taxi boat, etc. it is also nice to read a book. the rooms are absolutely beautiful, I travelled a lot in Brazil and I never saw this quality for bedding, decorations, etc. the service is great: we loved the breakfast and the tea time, and we loved the option to order pique-nique for our walks.

Buffet and continental breakfast options with local specialities, fruits and juice are available daily at the guest house. At La Coquille, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Brazilian cuisine. Amazing hotel! Diego and the team are such fantastic hosts - it was hard to say goodbye :(

The lady who checked us in and looked after us during our stay was very friendly and helpful. She spoke ok English but used translate apps well and made an effort to help us arrange tours etc was of great assistance and big smile! The location is nice and quiet up the back of town so a bit of a walk but safe area and everything close by
