With the free upgrade, I had a large room with two beautiful kang beds. The room was extremely clean. It was wonderful to have such an authentic experience, with traditional furniture and even a wooden door that locks with padlock and key. Both heating and aircon ensured my comfort, the water was hot and the guesthouse owner was very kind. It's also in a fantastic location.

Pingyao hu lu wa Home Inn ligger i en historisk bygning i Pingyao, 300 m fra Qingxu Guan. Der tilbydes gratis cykler og udsigt over den indre gårdhave. The staff are very friendly, and helpful, the owner gave us lots of useful advice and tips, due to some circumstances, I called the owner for help after we left the Inn, the owner rescued us by meeting us with his two lovely twins and help book a taxi, we would have missed the train without the owner’s support.

The couple who manages the property is helpful and very welcome, interesting to talk to and with plenty of good advices. Always smiley and kind, easy going, ready to help for anything you might need.

Pingyao Baichanghong Hotel ligger lige ved siden af Xietongqing Uinintegred Bank Museum. Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

The rooms and the courtyard are so beautiful and cozy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. And there is free bottled water in the fridge, which is very convenient.
