La Maïoun Guesthouse er staðsett í Nice á Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur-svæðinu, 500 metrum frá ströndinni. Boðið er upp á verönd og garðútsýni. We stayed at a private room that was very cozy. As we stayed near the common area, we feared that it would be noisy at night but we were wrong (plus the common area is pretty cool - it has lots of board games!). Breakfast was simple yet we found it enough (the croissant was delicioooooous). The staff was very friendly and helpful :)

Les Pierres de Cézaire er nýuppgert gistihús sem er staðsett í Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, 15 km frá Parfumerie Fragonard - The History Factory Grasse. Very cosy apartment in the mountains, with a super friendly host. She gave us a welcome drink, re-made our beds (we wanted 2 single beds), gave us good advice about some places nearby and generally had a great chat with her. The breakfast was amazing too. We had a stroll in the evening and stumbled on an industrial site for perfumes, that was an interesting experience. In the morning she recommended a perfume factory to visit and so we did, and it was really worth it!

La petite hostellerie er gististaður í Uzès, 31 km frá Parc Expo Nîmes og 38 km frá aðallestarstöðinni í Avignon. Þaðan er útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. The lovely character of the property, the decor, the ambience and the thoughtfulness of the proprietor

Monte Alta í Salon-de-Provence býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna ásamt árstíðabundinni útisundlaug, garði og bar. The breakfast was outstanding! We were so pleased with the freshness, quality, quantity and,... well, everything. It was perfect! Monte Alta is a terrific place to stay in Salon de Provence. It's very accessible to the centre of the lovely city and the facilities at the hotel/guest house are remarkable.

Maison Boussingault er staðsett í miðbæ Avignon, 500 metra frá aðallestarstöðinni og í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Papal-höllinni, en það býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og verönd. Well located, centrally, but quiet as it is in a small street and the rooms look towards an inner courtyard. The jams at breakfast, home-made by the host, were amazing! Room was clean, well-organized.

AQUARIUS IN CASSIS, Chambres d'Hôtes er nýlega uppgert gistihús í Cassis, 1,2 km frá Bestouan. Það býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni og fjallaútsýni. Room is very spacious, comfortable and cozy; location is perfect - very calm neighborhood, 10min walk from downtown and 3min from a very nice supermarket. Very nice breakfast with a view to the Calanques National Park. Bus stop right across the street to shuttles from/to the train station. Hosts are incredibly kind, helpful and great company.

L'Iris de Suse er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Le Barroux, í innan við 36 km fjarlægð frá Papal-höllinni og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni, þægileg, hljóðeinangruð herbergi og ókeypis WiFi. Beautiful and amazing place. It’s located in a small picturesque town. Decorated with great taste (attention to detail and modern but authentic design), spacious and clean room. I loved the bathroom. The breakfast is served on the outside terrace with a lovely view (local fresh products). Big, comfy bed. Nice owner. If you need quietness, tranquility and nature, history and architecture, nice design - this is the place to go to!

A Ventoux Yourte er staðsett í innan við 28 km fjarlægð frá þorpinu Village des Bories og 33 km frá Ochre-gönguleiðinni í Monieux en það býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. such a nice place to stay after a long drive, very comfortable and clean.

Un palmier à sa fenêtre er nýuppgert gistihús sem er staðsett í Grasse og býður upp á garð. The breakfast was a delight ! We sat in our hostess’s garden under the shade of her market umbrella at the back of the property and could not help but enjoy her impeccable good taste. The selection of food and the attractive environs that she offered was partly from her experience as a designer but more I believe from her natural warmth and genuine desire to spoil us as her guests. I still keep thinking of our stay and hope very much to return one day to have Sonja treat us once again to her perfumed muslin sheets ! I thought they were just for babies ! But it was Grasse after all ! The living is all done at the back of this lovely old freestanding symmetrical French property and facing on to the garden, where it is quiet away from the road and with some views ( enter through the central iron gates and down the path on the LHS ) we found it easy to walk from the property up the hill a manageable distance to the various attractions of historic Grasse.
