A recently renovated property, Times Elegant Rooms is set in Ermoupoli near Asteria Beach, Saint Nicholas Church and Industrial Museum of Ermoupoli. Perfect location with a nice view and good location. Very kind host Fanis welcomed me downstairs. Booked 1 night before but definitely the best stay I had in Syros and Greece. Btw, there was nice local bar downstairs. You can share the happiness with them from the terrace.

Villa Maria What do you look for in a guest house? A warm, helpful, and knowledgable host? Or a comfortable place to spend one’s time after a full day exploring the city, village, or island? What about proximity to restaurants, helpful recommendations, and the right amount of attentiveness? If you’re visiting the island of Syros and you prioritize any or all of the above, then look no further than Villa Maria, a stunningly beautiful home reimagined into the perfect guest house. Even in the beginning of August, the heart of tourist season, Elisa and Costas made us feel as if we were the only visitors staying in their exceptionally lovely house, when, in fact, they were operating at full occupancy. It must be said that our room, as well as the entirety of Villa Maria, was elegantly-decorated, impeccably cared for, tasteful, and, quite simply, beautiful. When Costas met us at Miaouli Square and proceeded to retrieve my wife’s carry-on suitcase as well as another roller bag from another couple also booked into the guest house, carry them up the MANY stairs (perhaps the only caveat to consider depending on one’s fitness level) to the house, while he negotiated simultaneous conversations in Greek and English to accommodate both couples, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. Later, his recommendations for beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and delicious gelato, and more—all clearly plotted into a map for our use—were fine-tuned after a bit of conversation to suit us. And even though we usually like to discover destinations on our own when we travel, we soon found ALL of his recommendations hit the mark! Elisa, too, encouraged us to imagine that we were living in our own private island home away from home. A mix up in scheduling for her Greek cooking class—a guest’s mistake, not hers—meant that our late-notice sign-up for the afternoon would have to be cancelled.

Very clean rooms. Fairly quiet as not on the main road. Easy walk to everywhere. Christina was really helpful with tips on where to go and places to eat. As we went just after Easter baskets of chocolate eggs and sweets on every level.Totally enjoyed our stay.

Tutto perfetto, proprietario gentilissimo e super disponibile. Camera bella spaziosa pulitissima e in ottima posizione. Grazie di tutto!!

Dotata di terrazza solarium e vista sul Mar Egeo, la Locadiera Pansion si trova nel cuore di Ermoupoli, nella regione di Syros, a 500 m dalla Chiesa di San Nicola. I'm so glad for the ferry strike because if not we wouldn't have known about this accommodation. It was so charming and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful terrace at the roof of the building with sea view where we were served coffee and biscuits. The hosts are wonderful. It's right in the city center around restaurants, shops, 5 min walk from the port. Definitely will be staying here when we go back to Syros.

Ospitata in un edificio neoclassico risalente agli anni Ottanta del 19° secolo, la struttura tradizionale Achilleion gode di una posizione centrale, di fronte al Museo Industriale di Ermopoli, e offre... The guest house is an old traditional house with exceptional decoration, like a small museum. The room was spacious with a nice air conditioning unit that was very usefull due to the heat wave at the time of my visit. A nice addition was the ability to make coffee and a cold bottle of water in the fridge. The neighborhood is quiet and close to super markets and the harbor.

Situato in una posizione collinare nella parte medievale di Ano Syros, l'ecologico Wind Tales offre sistemazioni tradizionali e una vista sul Mar Egeo e sul porto di Ermoupolis. Everything was perfect! Located in the old city of Ano Syros, with an amazing view on Ermoupoli. The rooms are beautiful, carved out of the rock. Bed was very comfy and attention to details on the decoration is outstanding. Very nice staff, that gave us plenty of tips on the island and brought breakfast to the private balcony. Highly recommended!
