This place was simply amazing!! We weren’t sure when booking because it did not have many reviews there, but it turned out to be so wonderful! It’s pretty new, and the owner Angle was SO nice and accommodating, setting us up with everything we needed and being super responsive to our needs. The place has an awesome pool, super cool main area with weights for workouts, plenty of hammocks and chilling areas, bikes to use if needed, kayaks and stand up paddle board which you can use as a guest! The property is located just a few mins off the main road and it’s perfect because it’s a bit more secluded feel and so relaxing. The property is right by the mangroves and had a little park to access the river where you can go kayaking! Angel took us on a tour in the little side channels of the mangroves and it was simply amazing! More people need to learn about this place! I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Angel for an awesome stay!!

Featuring garden views, Calypso cabanas provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 400 metres from El Paredon Beach. I had such an amazing stay at Calypso - it was one of my favorite parts of El Paredon. The beds are comfortable and the bungalow is nestled in nature. They have an outdoor shower and a nice table outside where you can sit and read. The owners are so friendly and helpful! The bungalows are located only a few minutes walk from the beach (away from the loud hostels but close enough to the beach and delicious restaurants). Loved my stay here!
