Situated 37 km from Stykkishólmur, Drangar Country Guesthouse is located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and features a shared lounge. The property is beautiful! The attention to detail was impressive. The hosts were kind and attentive.

The house is very clean, very comfortable. The view outside the room is very beautiful. Can park your car in the front of the house. Close to the town. There are many little sweet things in the house. Like extra warmer for the third bed that is not so closed to the heater. Many hangers in the room and toilet and shower room. The room smells very good. The living room is very comfortable and can use blanket if you feel cold. Kitchen is very clean and have some free food or powder can use. We really enjoyed the time living here. The host is very nice. We really appreciate for staying in such a beautiful place:）

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The place is so cute, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the beds were great. Lara was also very fast to answer questions and super friendly!

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. Everything, this place is just amazing! The cottage is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the mountines and with a wonderful seeview. I will come back for sure if I'll ever be in Iceland again, which I really hope. Breakfast was served directly in the cottage and every kind of food was provided. Everything was just perfect!

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. Without realizing it while booking we ended up in 'the fancy room' (according to the staff, but we agree). Very nice view of the coast and the glacier. Top breakfast and top buffet-style dinner (for a correct price). All home-cooked with local ingredients, which we really appreciated (some of the best food we had in Iceland). We saw the chef cleaning and filleting (big!) fish in front of the hotel, which was quite an experience. Very warmly recommended! p.s. The Snaefellsnes peninsula is so beautiful. It was definitely one of the highlights of our tour of Iceland, not to be missed!

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Great clean & spacious room, nice view from the window. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Saw some sheep strolling around from the window :D
