It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

Situated 37 km from Stykkishólmur, Drangar Country Guesthouse is located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and features a shared lounge. We had the most incredible stay at Drangar guesthouse! Just driving down the drive way completely blew us away. The architecture and story behind the buildings were fascinating to hear. Our hosts were so welcoming and gave us loads of advice for sights to see around the Snæfellsnes peninsula. We travelled around Iceland for 2 weeks and this was honestly our favourite! 100% recommend a visit

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The place is so cute, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the beds were great. Lara was also very fast to answer questions and super friendly!

Located on a family owned sheep farm, Saudafell Guesthouse offers accommodation in Sauðafell. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. Beautiful and cozy house. Very peaceful and nice viewing outside. Lovely and helpful hosts.
