The host is an absolute gem of a man! He provided tips & tricks, printed ski resort information to us when we got down for breakfast. Breakfast each morning was eggs and bacon, provided with a pan where you could fry them yourselves. He gave us a bottle of sake as a present when we had dinner, and even sat with us during our meal, sharing stories.

It was a bit cold in the mornings but didn't take away from the experience much. The owner was so kind and helpful and even invited us to karaoke.

I loved everything in this hostel! The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

El Shabby House es una casa tradicional japonesa de 60 años de antigüedad situada en Sapporo. La estación de Nishisenjuyojo se encuentra a 3 minutos a pie del alojamiento. Host was very friendly and accommodating. He fetched us to and from the station, made us breakfast, and was super fun to talk to.

La Pension Megumiyuki está situada a solo 4 minutos en auto de la estación de Biei, rodeada de pastos y campos de verduras. Hay estacionamiento privado gratuito. No tuvimos buena suerte con el clima en nuestra estadía, por lo que tuvimos mucha suerte de haber elegido este sitio para hospedarnos. La familia que está a cargo de la pensión es realmente amorosa. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar con ellos y de convidarles nuestro querido mate. Jugaron con nuestro hijo. Nos llevaron al pueblo varias veces (muchas gracias!) El desayuno es delicioso, con un pan super esponjoso (típico de la zona), todo fresco. La habitación era super espaciosa y los baños muy limpios.
