Fantastic, this place is a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it. The location is stunning, but the hosts are just the loveliest, friendliest and most welcoming people in the world. We had an unforgettable stay at Romey's. The food was amazing, the atmosphere amazing and we just had the best night. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, everyone should stay here....!!!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Wonderfully charming room and guesthouse, in an excellent location. Close to forest walks and an un-missable seaside on-sen, with friendly and helpful hosts. If we are ever in Izu Hokkawa again, we will be sure to stay here!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and full-day security. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

A warm friendly laid back house with all the amenities you need.. great outdoor showers when you return from the beach.. fantastic dinner and breakfast in a basket you can take to the beach! Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JOYinn is located in Izu Kogen. There is a free shuttle pick-up and drop-off service available for guests from Izu-Kogen Station. Absolutely nice and warm welcoming. Owner is extremely helpfull and even proposed to give us a lift with his car each time we nedeed it. Room is perfectly clean, as well as bedding and private bathroom. Fridge, microwave, kettel, table and 2 chairs. Excellent wifi. TV. Very peacefull. Up the hill with wonderful view.

Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. Place has a pocket view of the famous mountain and Host Daisuke kageyama is a nice and friendly person. Guided us through his place and drove us to take photos of Mt Fuji and tea garden before heading to the train station. Would recommend his place to anyone looking for accomodation.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. The lady (Makiko) was exceptionally helpful. we arrived late and she drove us to a nearby convenience store to grab some food. On our checkout day, it was raining and she kindly sent us to the train station.
