This was the best place we stayed in Japan during our 4 weeks of travel. We did not expect it to be so spacious and inviting. The hostess was very attentive, always eager to make our stay pleasant. We felt like at home, even better than home. The house itself is extremely beautiful, the views are fantastic, and the onsen in the house was very good, too. We will definitely stay here again next time, and we are telling all our friends to come to Japan and stay here. The town of Atami exceeded our expectations, too.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

When I arrived, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and detailed information about the stay. He really did his best to make our stay comfortable, what a lovely person! The room was clean and spacious, with sea view. In the morning you are able to see a breathtaking sunrise. From here you can visit many beautiful places. The price is low compared to other stays is the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here, I am sure you’ll love it!

A great host and a lovely dog. Everything you need is there. Close to train station, and Daisuke is very helpful providing info etc when needed.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. We had a very cozy and relaxed stay at J-Garden, though we had to change our room once because the first room was too enclosed. The hosts where kind and understanding, and this place is absolutely a gem. It's in walking distance to the coastline hike and by car (or public transport) you got a lot of opportunities too see the beauty of this Peninsula.
