Featuring a garden, Midorian is located within Nikko National Park. The property is around 1.5 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 8 km from Kegon Falls and a 16-minute walk from Futarasan Shrine. The property is amazing. It is in a quiet location a short walk from the bus stop. We got a little stuck in the rain but once we got there it was such a welcome relief, a beautiful traditional Japanese house with tatami mats and shoji. The sounds of the nearby river flowing behind the property was extremely relaxing and really added to the serenity of the property. The host is such a nice guy, we chatted fishing and he even sent me my headphones to our next accomodation after I left them behind. Wish we could have stayed longer but with our limited time we were go go go! Thanks Midorian.

Lovely, very traditional and comfortable place to stay in Nikko. Near to many of the main temples and a lot of space for a very reasonable price. The owner was also very kind, allowing us to check in a little early and booking our taxi back to the train station upon leaving.

We basically just wanted to store our luggage, but the already had the room(s) ready. First we entered a room which we thought, was some.kind of welcome area. Turned out it was our living room. Additionally we had a traditional sleeping room and separate bathroom/toilets. Their care for the facilities and love for details, made us fall in love with the place. They gave us recommendations on activities and even a lift to the train station.

Set in Nikko, the recently renovated COZY Inn Free Shuttle service offers accommodation 12 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 14 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The host was amazing! He had great food recommendations and was very nice. The onsen was very relaxing, too.
