Can't get enough of that place, looking at the life on the Mekong or discovering the farm life on the islands, the sunrises from your bedroom window, the big choice of very good food, and all the waterfalls or other 4000 islands activities cery close by. Take a boat and go to the morning market in Khinak, it's great. And of course the owners personality and super friendly staff. I love everything there.

Xuanmai Garden Resort is a 15-minute drive from Pakse’s centre. Guests can enjoy their meals at the on-site restaurant. Gnoc was very attentive to all her guests. Great food and lots of resources. We rented a scooter, and she arranged for the bike to be brought to us. She also helped to arrange our transport to our next destination. This took any worries we had away about finding appropriate transport.

Located in Don Det in the Champasak region, Namknong view features a terrace. This guest house provides a bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location had a beautiful view and a comfortable place to hang out. It was the perfect distance from the main town. The hammock was a nice touch.

Set in Ban Donsôm Tai, DON DET Souksan Sunset Guesthouse and The Xisland Riverview Studio offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. We booked the superior room and it really was worth the extra few bucks. You have a lovely private terrace with a magnificent (sunset) view of the Mekong river. Solid bungalows that don’t let bugs etc in. Clean. Aircon. Big room. - Staff is very friendly. Efficient check is where the owner shares all info you need, very helpful! - You can book tours, do laundry or order drinks, all at very fair prices. - Super location, quiet yet close to all the restaurants. - Private terrace comes with hammock, lovely.

DD Guest House, a property with a bar, is set in Pakse, 400 metres from Wat Luang, less than 1 km from Pakse Bus station, as well as a 13-minute walk from Wat Phabat. Great value for money, the host was very nice. Room is spacious enough

Pan guest house is set in Ban Donsôm and has a garden, a terrace and a bar. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. A very nice family run guest house right next to the Mekong with a view from the poolside deck downstream to the old French railway bridge. Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

Located in Pakse, 500 metres from International bus station KM 2, Heaven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. What I love the most was the kindness of the owner, Tina, and her professionality. She helped me in everything and arranged my trip to 4000 islands.She also cooked for me and she is extremely good in cooking.She speaks English really fluently. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was good and there was hot water. In this guest house I felt like to be at home.

The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!
