Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

Tina, the manager, is incredibly helpful and always there to assist and guide with anything I need. Abu Bakar, one of the staff members, is very knowledgeable about the area and is always available to help book tuktuks or taxis. I even felt comfortable asking about the safest way to return to the hotel late at night. Tina even gave me access to the kitchen and offered me free food, which made me feel right at home. The mattresses in the room are so comfortable, which isn't always the case in other places I've stayed in Laos.
