This was the most valuable part of our entire trip. The staff at the guesthouse go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and help you organise everything from transport to tours. The owner Kong, took us on a tour of the Plain of Jars and went out of his way to take us to all three sites, arrange our lunch, take photos, answer all our questions, and educate us on the history of the war in Laos and the impact it has on the country to this day. It is absolutely worthwhile doing a trip out to Phonsavan just to stay here and do the tour with Kong.

Clean and spacious room, no frill hotel, comfortable and large bed, location is not really in the center of town but we love it! It was so quiet and beautiful. The host is wonderful , Bee Sipanya, provided us free shuttle to and from airport; he dropped us off to market and picked us up when we’re done. Do not forget to book the tour with this place, it was well worth it. We would recommend this place to friends and family.

The hillside residence is just lovely. The family that run it are absolutely delightful and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The shower is the BEST!!! The balcony where we had breakfast each day is also a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. There is an excellent restaurant just next door and it’s only a short walk to town. Perfect
