The cottage is located within 5mins drive from the Sigiriya Lion Rock site & close to many restaurants & other travel amenities (such as ATM & laundry).

The hosts were wonderful — they were prompt in replying to our messages and tended to our needs. The breakfast we were served was delicious. The bed was comfy and the place was extremely clean.

We absolutely loved this place. If we could we would give a 20/10! Room are very clean, really big, beautiful and very comfortable. Even much better than it looks in the pictures. Hot water and good pressure in the shower 🙌🏼 Kettle, tea, and coffee available in the room. Such a nice view from the window, AC works perfectly. The location is great and very quiet. Staff are super friendly and very approachable, give you useful tips for your trip around the area and in general of Sri Lanka. The breakfast is very yummy! 100% recommended to everyone! Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. Lovely host, amazing food, Wi-Fi worked, surrounded by nature. The room is basic (no hot water, no AC), but that didn't matter, as we loved how it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. Good to know: at night you can't walk around in the nature, as there are wild elephants. So if you go to the restaurants you need to take a tuk tuk back.

Excellent full service hostel in a peaceful, rural area outside of Sigiriya town. The hostel is nicely designed and the staff are so helpful. They organize daily activities and can help with any transportation needs you have. The nightly dinner buffet is outstanding and well worth the money.

Located in Sigiriya, within 1 km of Sigiriya Rock and 3.7 km of Pidurangala Rock, The Cattleya Guest House provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... This guesthouse was by far the best place we stayed throughout all of Sri Lanka. Rooms are brand new (built only in 2020), with modern bathroom and spacious bedroom with beautiful large king-size bed. Immaculately clean. Breakfasts on the terrace were pure Sri Lankan magic: exceptional Sri Lankan food and fresh fruit juices, lush garden complete with elephant foot prints, and cheeky monkeys who are just waiting for a chance to take a banana. The owners are incredibly kind: the hostess is a fabulous cook (we ate 2 traditional rice and curry dinners here, plus 2 breakfasts) and the host drove us for free to the entrance of Sigiriya and kindly helped us with our travel plans to Polonnawura and back to Galle. Even though Sri Lanka was going through a difficult time with nationwide power outages and increasing gas prices during the time we stayed, we felt truly cared for by the gentle and incredibly kind owners. Thank you!

They are super kind and just lovely and went out of their way to make our stay the best it possibly could be. The kids loved it! Their favourite place so far and are already missing the family and Sigiriya… Location, breakfast, service all perfect. our first 10 score!

Located in Sigiriya, 600 m from Pidurangala Rock, Sigiri Close-up View Guest features a garden and views of the mountain. The view from the hotel is absolutely astonishing. Both the dinner and breakfast were very good and the hosts extremely nice and accommodating. Bonus points for the peacocks on the nearby field we got to watch at breakfast every morning.

Domaćini su nam veoma pomogli, preporučili mjesta na koje trebamo ići i dogovarali prijevoz, ali i sve ostalo što smo trebali. Veoma su ljubazni i dragi, ali i profesionalno odrađuju svoj posao. Nije im ništa problem i stvarno smo se tu osjećali kao kod kuće. Nadam se da ćemo u budućnosti opet doći na ovo mjesto kod ovih ljudi i preporučam svima od srca da dođu u ovaj smještaj.
