Janith the host is great, he promptly takes action whatever you ask for. Great host, extremely friendly and professional . He even organized for us the safari tour, and I can admit that he is the best safari driver ever as well. With his assistance me and my wife where able to see lots of elephants from different distances, dancing peacocks, crocodiles, water buffalos and a lot of different other species. Thank You Janith !!! Highly recommended venue in case you travel to Udawalawe and wish to do the safari tour. The most comfortable stay.

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. Amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. They arranged our transportation to and from the hotel, our safari, a hike and temple visit and informed us of a near by pool we could use. All of the meals were fantastic. Best part of our trip to Sri Lanka!

The room was clean and beautiful, the AC worked, a very big balcony, from which the view to the national park opened and an elephant trotted by. The food is excellent, the dinner was very rich. The family was very friendly, they help organize Safari tickets and Jeeps. I highly recommend.

Max was very nice and helpful with information. He arranged for good and cheap transport both to and from his place. We also went on safari from Max and it was also both good and cheap. The rooms are large and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. We can definitely recommend

Offering a children's playground, Buddika Safari & Resort is located in Udawalawe. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned. Perfect stay! Amazing host that organized the safari for us at a good price, with an experienced driver with an eagle eye. Great homemade meals, including a take away breakfast for the safari. The room was big and clean, and the location couldn't be better, right next to the entrance of Udawalawe Park.
