Lovely setting in a beautiful homestay environment. It was very peaceful sitting in their beautiful garden, and the orchestra of frogs in the evening was a delight. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. Dimu and his wife were so genuine and lovely, and the curries were delicious. Dimu organised a safari tour with Sumudu as our guide. Sumudu's knowledge and respect for the animals was very much appreciated. We saw many wild elephants, Sambur deer (very rare), deer, wild boar, golden jackals, Buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongoose and many beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip! Thanks for an amazing stay, Dimu!

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. The safari with Suresh was excellent and good value for a four hour trip. Janith was the perfect host, communicative without being pushy and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also very delicious.

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. Loved it all! One of the best acommodations on my trip to Sri Lanka. The location itself is great - not far away from the village center, but still in nice, quiet local road where you can meet lots of friendly local people. The garden in Mango tree house is very beautiful and very well kept! The cottages are super clean, very spacious and beautiful. Loved the waterfall shower in bathroom! The owner family is very friendly and welcoming. You can feel very relaxed there as they help in everything needed. I got my rides organized by the owners which saved my time a lot. Also their dinner was great, one of the best local meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Even if they dont have pool, there is one at really near by hotel that the owner directed me to enjoy refreshing swim on a hot day. You only pay small fee to enter the pool. I would definitely stay here again!

Hasthi Safari Cottage อยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 16 กม.มอบบริการที่พักพร้อมสวน ที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี ลานระเบียง และห้องอาหาร... Nice cottage house on a quiet street. The host was very nice, we bought a safari tour through him and a taxi to our next location. Also, we ate at his restaurant and it was good authentic food. Our room had AC and bathtub + outdoor shower.

The Elephant Next-Door ตั้งอยู่ใน Udawalawe ห่างจาก Udawalawe National Park ไม่เกิน 8 กม. มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกมากมาย เช่น สวน ห้องอาหาร แผนกต้อนรับเปิดทำการตลอด 24 ชม. Room was very nice, everything was beautiful, Janaka is very caring and thoughtful. We also at diner there, the curry was excellent and very good value for money.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. The bungalow was very clean, the dinner and breakfast excellent and tasty. Great value for money and they arranged us a nice safari in a comfortable jeep. They also kindly offered us a bottle of water at each meal which is very rare for Sri Lanka. I highly recommand this resort for your Safari

Max Safari Villa อยู่ในอุดาวาลาเว ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติ Udawalawe National Park 14 กม.มอบบริการที่พักพร้อมสวน ที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี เลานจ์ส่วนกลาง และลานระเบียง... My stay there was absolutely great. I really enjoyed the room. It was comfortable and very clean. I also had my breakfast and dinner there. Highly recommend that, as the food was super diverse and delicious. Max was really helpful and accommodating. I also did the Safari with him. Can recommend that as well. Very fair price and a good tour.

Offering a children's playground, Buddika Safari & Resort is located in Udawalawe. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned. We had a great stay at Buddika Safari & Resort. We enjoyed the spacious and clean room (incl AC) and bathroom (incl plenty hot water). The host is super friendly and the food delicious. The location is very close to the national park which is a plus for the safari tour which was organized by the host as well. We arrived at the property at 1 PM and enjoyed lunch 30 minutes later. We discussed the safari tour options with the host during lunch and decided to go that afternoon due to the weather expectations. At 2:30 PM we were in a jeep on our way to the park with a knowledgeable driver! The next day the host brought us to the Elephant Transit Home. Overall a great experience from beginning to the end of our two (2) day stay.

We had a lovely stay at Mansala Safari House. The room was very comfortable and we had a good rest. Also the breakfast (and dinner) were absolutely amazing! very kind hosts and would definitely recommend staying here. Perfect for visiting Udawalawe.
