Rothko Museum residences is a multi-functional complex located in the Arsenal building at Daugavpils Fortress. It was very cool to stay in a museum for the night!

Located in the quiet part of Preili, Holiday House Magones is a family run house offering rooms with free WiFi. There is a shared kitchen and 2 common rooms with a TV. Very good location, near center of the town. Very kind host, even though we have arrived late in the night, everything was arranged.

We very much liked that the place is quite private, so you have your own garden with a lake. Sauna was great - it's quite spacious and has a view to the lake. Having a sauna while watching a sunset. The house did have everything that we needed for our stay. We also saw multiple herons flying near to our shore. The lake itself offers a lot. Thanks a lot for this nice experience!
