Baan Thara Guesthouse offers accommodation in Ao Nang Beach near Nopparat Thara Beach and Ao Nang Krabi Boxing Stadium. The 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free... Baan Thara Guest House is a Krabi hidden gem. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They will give you advice about places to go, and help you get cheaper deals on tours, bookings, and all sorts. WIFI is free, breakfast is included and coffee is available 24/7. But what we truly loved about Baan Thara, was how genuinely kind they are. They truly wanted us to have the best time and did whatever they could to make sure of it. We were traveling as a family with a small toddler and the way they treated him was amazing, we couldn't have felt more comfortable. Baan Thara Guest House is also located closer to Nopparat Thara Beach than to Ao Nang. Nopparat Thara includes the Ao Nang night markets, a ton of separate shop fronts, the Muay Thai boxing arena, lots of cannabis if that's what you are looking for, and in our opinion, a better-looking and more enjoyable beach. There are only boats up one end of the beach, and on the other end is a beautiful little cove where people snorkel and you can watch the boats come in and out from the pier. It's also way less crowded and there aren't tourists drinking. All the locals come down for dinner (which was a sign for us) and sit by Nopparat Thara and watch the incredible sunsets and most stay quite late. The beach is only a short walk from Baan Thara which is especially good if you are working with a small budget and don't have transportation (scooter or taxis). We absolutely loved our stay with Baan Thara Guest House and would highly recommend anyone who is planning to stay in the Ao Nang area to also stay here, we will absolutely be booking here again when we travel back to Krabi. Situated in Ko Jum, just a few steps from Ting Rai Beach, Kohjum Seafront Resort features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. Location, staff and food were all amazing.

I looked for a place to stay by myself for a few days. It was so comfortable that I extended my stay! The hosts are so nice and helpful, were super patients to my questions and helped me book a tour and a transfer in great prices. The room is simple but have all you need. Nice if you want to get away from the touristy places and to see the local life, but still to be close enough to the beach.

Lovely wooden huts with nice traditional wooden decor and good bathroom facilities. Very comfortable and clean. Inland jungle setting, with beautiful greenery and lovely restaurant with fountain.

The owner is very nice and even drove my girlfriend to the dentist without any charge. The room was clean and spacious enough for two. Aircon, TV, shower etc. worked flawlessly.

The room itself is very attractive, and modern. The room was clean. Location is good, and they offer motorbike rental. Also had free water and coffee. There are also tours and transport you can book directly which are cheaper than online. Overall we had a good stay!

Beautiful rooms and balcony, good air-conditioning, big fridge and kettle. Very clean rooms and common areas. Owners/staff is very welcoming and friendly. Location is good, near town center (about 20min. by foot), very near is 7/11 and Lotus supermarket, restaurants also. Not a touristy area, you are staying where the locals are! We also rented a scooter via them, it was very smooth operation. We extended our stay and will recommend Baan Bida to our friends and family!
