The property carer, Khun Suda, is very friendly and attentive. The place itself is clean and functional. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and watching people come and go on the street below. You can rent scooter directly from the hotel at a very good price. It looks exactly like in the pictures. Internet is good, we had to work for a couple of days and the connection was fast and stable.

Maikhao Beach Guest House is situated a 5-minute walk from the beach. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. The property is exactly how it should be. The rooms are clean and big enough. AC is working very well. The place has an open-air shower. Which is honestly very cool. The beach is a 5-10 min walk, depending on how fast can you walk. The owners are very friendly people, they worry about every detail, and make sure you feel good.

La Piccola Patong is a 10-minute walk from Patong Beach and has free WiFi access. Situated in a quiet street, the property is less than 1 km from Jungceylon Shopping Mall and Banzaan Fresh Market. Good, clean hotel. Quiet place, good to sleep, still close to all main attractions. Nice staff.

Although the hotel is not right next to Kata Beach, it is very close. It is a ten-minute walk to Kata Beach. The hotel also has a pick-up and drop-off service to the beach. The room is very clean and warm, like home. We stayed two nights in a room with balcony and had a great experience. The soundproofing of the room is also great. The food in the Italian restaurant downstairs is also very good, although I prefer the cheap and good Thai restaurant diagonally across from the hotel.
