Actually we didn't know much about Hergla and we came mostly for L'artisan and the fact that Hergla was a small place close to the sea. Both Hergla and L'artisan surpassed our expectations. Hergla is such a nice little relaxed town. It didn't feel crowded with turists and it still had a sleepy holiday vibe to it. The houses are beautiful and the people are friendly. Our room at L'artisan was huge and beautifully decorated and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. The owner is an excellent chef (and by excellent i really mean excellent). Everything we had from his kitchen was top notch - he even arranged for us to go on a boat trip with a local friend and his son, and when we spontaneously decided to buy fish from local guys during this trip he prepared them for us for dinner. Go here, you won't regret it.
