Everyone going to Durban, AND who likes beautiful old style accommodations with plenty of charm should spend their time in this beautiful place, full of atmosphere, old antics, nice rooms, all different, (plenty pillows ;o) ), good breakfast, helpful personal, and even a little bottle sherry in the lounge for a little drink in the evening. The photos on the page don´t lie, it is a small gem, and a place like this would cost much more in Britain. It is situated away from the beach, and the characterless concrete hotels there, up behind the big football stadium . An Uber will take you up there for 40-50 Rand from the beach. Well worth it.

Situated within 4.8 km of Newcastle Golf Club and 33 km of Chelmsford Nature Reserve, The Tuscan Garden provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Newcastle. Gerhard, the owner, made us feel so welcome and made sure we were comfortable. The whole guesthouse is tastefully decorated, is spotless and so are the rooms. There was ample cupboard space and the room had everything we needed. We were there in winter and the gardens were magical, so I can only imagine how beautiful they are in summer. It is a perfect setting for wedding photos etc The guesthouse is situated in a lovely tranquil suburb that is close enough to the shopping centers and restaurants yet far enough to appreciate the trees and beautiful setting.. We will definitely be going back to stay at The Tuscan Garden.

Offering a garden and garden view, Hillcrest Haven cottage 1 is located in Hillcrest, 33 km from Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve and 33 km from Durban ICC. Very neat and cozy unit in a beautiful location with very friendly and helpful hostess and staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Offering a garden and garden view, La Casa Nostra Villa Rose Garden Amore is set in Hillcrest, 32 km from Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve and 32 km from Durban ICC. The whole villa and rose gardens are very beautiful, the furniture was perfect for the whole Italian feel of the place. Even the architectural walls outside and statues were on point. A little structure to the side reminded me of the Colosseum in Italy.The water fountain was very relaxing to hear. Bedroom was devine. Bed so comfortable and the beddings were really luxurious. Everything was so tasteful. A bit of olde world charm. Patio too comfortable, you would want to take a good book and read it there whilst looking at the multitude of colourful roses. Bathroom fittings was amazing and really neat. I think the underneath of the sink looked like a singer machine it was so thoughtful whoever designed and decorated this place is really a genius with the whole theme in mind. The little touches , paintings on wall, furniture fits into this place like a glove. Nothing seems out of place at all. It all fits to make your visit memorable.

Featuring a sun terrace with a swimming pool, as well as a garden, Golf Course Boutique Guesthouse is set in Mount Edgecombe. The Guesthouse was spotless and modern. The staff very friendly. It in a great location close to restaurants.. we will be back

Situated just less than 1 km from Granny's Pool Beach, Billfish Apartments provides accommodation in Ballito with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a housekeeping service. The rooms were fantastic with excellent views. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was awesome value for money and we had a fabulous stay. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Dolf who was always on hand if you needed anything.

Located in Durban and only 4.4 km from Kings Park Stadium, Collards B&B provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely loved it there, i think it will be my home when im in Durban. The staff were friendly, breakfast very nice and the location is nice and peaceful also convinient as it close to the city and other shopping centers.
