The house on a whole is just beautiful, decor is modern and nicely done through out the property. Hot tub is a lovely touch added, which we used in the glorious sun on Christmas day, a memory our little girl will always remember. The location is so tranquil and shops are accessible with lovely bakers a few mins drive away. Lastly Zen is an amazing host who went above and beyond to accommodate and help us through out our stay. Thank you so much for a Christmas our family will never forget! We will be back with our dog Albie as we know he will love it just as much. It’s been a pleasure, thank you! x

Odličan smještaj, za svaku preporuku. Dovoljno komforno, 3 toaleta, 2 kupaonice, udobni kreveti. Odlicno za 2-3 obitelji. Grupu ljudi. Ako nas put nanese u tom pravcu sigurno ćemo opet kombinirati s ovim smjestajem.

Prekrasni domaćini prije svega. Ambijent najvišeg levela, čistoća, dizajn, opremljenost - high class, sve pohvale vlasniku. Sve je blizu i lako dostupno, a opet ste u svom miru i imate svoju privatnost. Mi se definitivno vraćamo natrag :)

A cosy cute little cottage surrounded by fields and woods offering beautiful views of mountains and serenity. Perfectly functioning, easy-to-use equipment, simply all you need for a little get-away. Very considerate hosts who offered us an earlier check-in on a rainy day. An excellent base for our trips around Slovenia. On a lazy day just taking a stroll in the woods of Naklo and Strahinj did perfectly fine. The fenced property with a lovely orchard made it a lot easier for us travelling with a dog, who was not very happy to leave. :-) We were returning guests and I'm quite sure we'll come again.

Such a warm welcome and Peter and Marjeta do everything to make your stay comfortable. We were unlucky with the weather, but they increased the temperature for the jacuzzi and they even brought bathrobes! Wonderfull breakfast also for us vergetarians.

Lokacija kućice je izvrsna. Okružena je zelenilom a ispred nje je potočić čiji žubor stvara idealnu zvučnu kulisu. Drvena kućica je udobna a svaki detalj je pomno osmišljen. Ispred je terasa na kojoj smo doručkovali a uz potok je ležaljka na kojoj se možete opustiti. Doručak u drvenoj kutiji su domaćini neprimjetno ostavili na terasi a bio je raznolik i više nego ukusan. Ljubazan domaćin pokazao nam je cijelo imanje.

We loved everything about Riverhouse. We were met by Breda who gave us a tour of the house. The kitchen has absolutely everthying and anything you can think of including all utensils, pots, pans, glasses, plates, mugs and a very good sandwitch toaster. Breda ensured there were snacks and drinks ready for us. There was also extra oil and an huge range of spices. The bathrooms had the usual supplies but extras of anything including afershave and creams. The washing machine/dryer is very easy to use and again a stain remover proved handy and also a clothes rack for drying. The bathrooms are new and well oragnized and the bedrooms were more than adequate for five including three tall teenagers. Having said all that the true charm of the place comes from the garden which is a very large expanse including an amazing outdoor kitchen which we used all the time. The outdoor kitchen is very well supplied, very well decorated and icludes a gas barbecue which came very handy. We sat for hours outside just listening and watching the river that flows in a constant stream at the edge of the garden. After a long day hiking just to cool your feet off in the river is amazing. Anton and Breda and vey generous and forthcoming hosts. Having read reviews all of the above was as described by others. Our biggest surprise was Preddvor. The town lies at the foot of the most beautiful mountains. It is off the usual tourist list and you can do many hikes starting from River house. Use the website for Preddvor travel which details in English the numerous hikes in the area. We went up Javorov and came through St Jakobs church where a cafe serves amazing strudel. We had spent time in the Triglav national park which is stunning but it was teeming with tourists from all over Europe. On the hikes around Preddvor we encouneterd mainly locals and on the mainy road is a superb bakery. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and outstanding outdoor garden and kitchen the this is your stop.
